Adequate Work Space

Being able to work from home is very appealing because it allows you to spend more time with families, both human and furry family members.  While this is encouraged, sometimes “life happens” and it can interfere with customers.  In order to be successful with MLA Virtual Services and AVS, it is imperative that you have space to work that is free of background inference.  Think out of the box when creating your work space, its your space to enjoy.

A desktop computer or laptop is a necessity to work from home, noise canceling headset (check your computer outlet requirements), hardline internet (no wireless or wi-fi), home phone ( not all clients will require a home phone), Email account that is checked regularly.

After successfully completing the application on MLA Virtual Services website, ensuring that you have adequate work space, and accessing your equipment.  The next step is to register on the Arise platform, who is Arise Virtual Solution?

Before you, a Service Partner, can begin servicing a client program, you must take and successfully complete a client certification course. Certification is an investment opportunity. Like an aesthetician, realtor or general contractor, it prepares the learner to be a true professional. Learners will gain keen knowledge related to the client, call types, customers, and how to be successful.

The charges for these courses range between $19.99 and $250. This is required by clients in order to be able to service their account. The course provides information on the client’s systems that will be used by agents during servicing, as well as the performance metrics laid out in the operative Statement of Work and other information about the client program.

What To Expect

Courses range anywhere from 10 days to 8 weeks in length. Each session is normally 4 hours long. Often the course is instructor-led, but there are also self-directed components, and there may be requirements to complete prior to the next day’s class. Everything is virtual. Videos and audio components are built into the online experience.

An Opportunity Announcement is a document that contains all the information you need to determine your agents, would like to provide call center services for a particular client program. Details about the client, call types, additional equipment requirements, service revenue, certification course schedules and certification requirements are in this document. It is critical that you read Opportunity Announcements thoroughly before expressing interest in a client program. Opportunity Announcements can only be accessed after the registration process is complete.

 In order for you to work from remotely and enjoy the freedom of not having anyone dictating your schedule, you will have to INVEST for your success/

The only fee you will have to pay is for the certification course fee of the client program you choose to service. The certification course fee varies and range from $19.99 – $299.00, you choose based on your budget and your desired client.  Certification course will be between 8 days-6 weeks (depending on the client program), in which you will be learning the client program product and services and how to initiate and complete customer calls. Because you are an independent contractor, you are responsible for any operating fees involved with working remotely. This list includes but not limited to equipment needed to service, internet, phone, and any other fees that is involved.  Please note that any fees that you pay out of pocket will be tax deductible.
